- Fall 2008-Current: Assistant Media Relations Director at Idaho State University. Responsible for covering women's soccer, women's volleyball, women's basketball and men's and women's tennis. Coordinates athlete interviews, writes press releases, writes story recaps and posts information to Netitor. Creates and posts highlight videos to websites. Supervises media relations interns and graduate assistants. Has worked as the media relations contact for the Idaho State in three Big Sky championships; soccer of 2009 and basketball in 2008 and 2009.
Spring 2007-Spring 2008: Media Relations Graduate Assistant at Idaho State University responsible for covering men's and women's cross country, golf, track and field and tennis. Acquires and maintains statistical information on each sport, writes recaps and press releases for the Idaho State athletic website and facilitates the media. Also worked calling basketball games and recording stats for soccer. Produced a Track and Field Media Guide as well as a Golf and Tennis Media Guide.
Summer 2007: Worked as a graphic artist at Bully Dog Technologies. Was the head graphic artist for new campaign creating a new layout, advertisements, in-house informational material and packaging.
Fall 2004-Spring 2007: Worked as an Intern at Sports Information at Idaho State writing stories and compiling stats for the men's and women's tennis team. Helped compile the spring sports media guides.

- Education: Currently working on a Masters of Physical Education and Athletic Administration at Idaho State University with expected graduation in spring 2010 and currently maintains a 3.0 GPA (attained from Master of Business Administration course work in Fall 2007). Received a Bachelor of Arts in mass communication with an emphasis in advertising and public relations and a minor in marketing in spring 2007. Graduated with a 3.92 GPA.

My name is Scott, and I'm a sports info intern at Virginia Tech. Just joined the site and created a media relations group for people who are interested in the community/public/media relations field.
