- Professional Experience
- I have experience in all aspects of design and journalism. Interning one summer as a graphic designer for BOCES, a regional educational agency providing services in partnership with 16 local school districts in New York State, I was offered a paid full-time position as a designer the following summer and winter. As an intern at the Plattsburgh Press-Republican newspaper, I designed and wrote for six magazines it produces. In addition, I have co-designed two 40-page glossy magazines for SUNY Plattsburgh and I am currently working on a third. I also designed the logo for the Lake Champlain Regatta sailboat race. I have had over 35 articles published in newspapers and magazines. In addition to designing and journalism, I am also a photographer. More than 50 of my photos have been published in newspapers and magazines in print and on the web.
- Education
- I will be graduating with a bachelor of arts degree in May. I majored in magazine journalism and graphic design. I have experience working with audio and video production, interactive media, illustration, web design, ad design, and others.
