I've just been looking for a job in sports because I'm getting ready to graduate and just came upon (Most likely through Google) the site while I was surfing around. I like how there's more than just professional sports jobs. Especially with college jobs, this may be the only college athletics job board I found. Free is also a perk too, the whole reason I'm looking for a job is because I have no money...Workinsports.com doesn't understand that concept

Stephen,

Thanks for the message...it's been tough...I'm so young and didn't take much time off between college and grad school...any advice/contacts? I'm looking in the Charlotte area and New York....I'd appreciate any help I could get!

Thank you. I hope that in the next couple months I can make some valuable connections to help me land a job. Hopefully sooner than later.
Are you still affiliated with Slippery Rock?

Thanks! I think you have a great website too. I'll definitely try to use it as I am trying to make either Sports Fan Base.com my full-time gig or use that to try and get another job in the sports industry. I'm currently a College Basketball Analyst on ESPN Radio in Maryland and Florida, so perhaps that will lead somewhere! Take care!

The Ironmen are finally starting to build up their name so the recognition is certainly moving in a positive direction.

Stephen:

Thank you for the email for this excellent networking resource. I have used the term "networking" as one of the key components for advancement in the sports industry. I have sent them out to my interns and part-time bi-weekly staff and will make it mandatory for them to sign up. In addition, I would like to speak with you in further detail regarding this resource and how I can make use of it for my employees. Please feel free to contact me at my office number: 516-299-3361. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you.

Matt
